Ouessant was an Agosta class submarine that served in the French Navy from 1978-2001. From 2005-2009 she was used by the Royal Malaysian Navy to train submariners. She was subsequently preserved as a museum ship at Klebang, near Melaka. The submarine is suspended on cradles on dry land, and there are a couple of jets there as well, but not much in the way of signage or displays. Worth a visit if you are in the area, but you will probably learn more at the Royal Malaysian Navy Museum nearby in the Melaka town centre.
