The Royal Thai Naval Museum in Bangkok is a fairly typical naval museum - full of ship models, uniforms, photographs and paintings, with an outdoor equipment area containing a range of gun mountings, torpedo tubes, torpedoes, mines, and other artifacts. The conning tower and part of the casing of one of the Japanese-built submarines from the interwar period sits out front of the museum, as does a small patrol boat, a large flying boat and various other bits and pieces. The museum is right next to a BTS rail station, and easy to get to, so I make a habit of dropping in whenever I pass through Bangkok. Entry is free.
