Persian purchase of vessels for a Maritime Inspection Service
In November 1922, the Persian Government proposed to purchase a cruiser and motor boats to establish a Persian Maritime Inspection Service. The Admiralty advised that there was insufficient information available to enable an opinion to be given as to whether Admiralty vessels existed which would meet the Persian requirements, and could be sold without infringing the Treaty conditions.
